Q:

I AM USING LANTUS PENS FOR GLUCOSE CONTROL WITH GREAT SUCCESS. HOWEVER, I HAVE A LOT OF USED PENS THAT I WOULD LIKE TO RECYCLY IF THAT IS POSSIBLE. HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT THAT? IS THERE A SPECIFIC PLACE I CAN SEND THEM TO OR CAN THEY JUST BE PUT INTO OUR COMMUNITY RECYCLING CENTER WITH OTHER PLASTICS? PLEASE ADVISE.

I think the best way to find out how to recycle these pens is to call Sanofi, the company that makes Lantus, and ask how to recycle your used pens. To contact Sanofi you can dial 1-800-981-2491 and ask to talk to their customer service representative.
