I am a Type 2 Diabetic with Cardio-metabolic Syndrome. I was managing my diabetes to some extent using Metformin (1000 x 2 a day), Glimepiride (4 mg), and 110 units of insulin. The last four months my fasting rate has been between 220-290. I have reduced my carb intake to less than 100 (mostly from multigrain sources). I still eat a banana or orange at lunch along with a salad and nuts. My main meals are breakfast at 6:30 AM and Dinner (meat and salad) at 5:30 PM. I need to lower my BS
