My grandmother has diabetes type II for 10 years. She is overweight since then, but her kidney & heart doesn't have problem. Since Nov last year, she suddenly couldn't walk, then couldn't stand on her own. Diagnosis seems to conclude that the condition was because of a problem in her brain, but her hands are normal, only her legs - and doctors said that her condition will only get worse. Now she could hardly move her legs or sit by her own, and she got sympton which seems like cramp everyday which is toturing her. Now she's using insulin injection, metformin & sulfonylurea. Any other medicines that could help her? I love her a lot and she's really in pain everyday. I'm a pharmacist so I know a bit about medicines, but my profession is pharmaceutics, not clinical. Please tell me if she should take some other medicines. Thanks a lot for your help!
