I had a CT 2 years ago that determined there was a cyst on my pancreas. Subsequently, I went to Duke Hospital and had an EUS and needle biopsy done. Additionally there was some chronic inflammation discovered in my pancreas. I have continued to do follow ups, and will be going for another EUS. I am wondering if some of the diabetic medications that I have taken could possibly be causing the inflammation? I have been taking Metformin for a few years, and I also took Byetta for awhile. No cause has been determined and no indication of cancer according to Duke.
