I have a question about diet. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in early September 2012. Since then I have worked very hard to control this disease, and my weight has dropped from 315 pounds to 245 pounds and my A1c went from 8.6 to 5. I look at the diet suggestions on this site and feel the amount of calories and carbs are way more than I would allow myself. Am I being too paranoid?
