I have necrobiosis lipoidica diabeticorum (NLD) on my lower legs, my elbows, and my arms and hands. I have used cortisone creams in the past with no relief, and it has caused too much thinning of the skin. Now for the past year, I have been using protopic ointment, and have seen the lesions increase in size, with denting on my lower left leg in the lesion area. I am thinking about doing a raw honey wrap of one leg to see if that will help. What do you think?
