Q:

I have been without my metformin for a couple of months and my readings have been higher since I dont have the medication. I am type 2 diabetic. Yes, my endocrinologist knows this, but I can't afford his office visits, I don't have any health insurance. I get charged $177 for a visit, which I havent paid them yet. It looks like they dont care because I haven't paid the bill. What can I do to get the medication? I live in Louisville, Ky. I really want to get it before any complications start.
