Blood drainer

Q:

I have had Type 2 for 8 years, at first I controlled with Diet and pills, Then went to B-Insulin about 3 years ago, which I'm taking 100 units in the AM and 90 in the PM. Had a heart attack 2 1/2 years ago and a triple bypass. Since then with my cardio meds and my limitations I have not been able to control my levels, especially in the morning. Last month I had another episode where I though I had another Heart attack, tuns out it was my sugars exceeded 500 so they kep me there and reworked my meds. Im on Humilin-R on an aggressive scale to try to help level out my readings. but Mornings are still high (230). Both my Primary and Cardiologist want me to go on the pump, how do I tell my Endocrinologist that we need to discuss the option?
