Please tell me what might be triggering these gucagon spikes? I'm type 1, middle aged with a 6ish A1C, well controlled. I eat a LCHF diet. I found that if I skip breakfast, I need to double the insulin at lunch. I know this is a glucagon response. A few days over the hollidays I ate breakfast then took long 2.5 hr naps. Upon waking my BGs were normal, but an hour later, with and without food, I was fighting 400s. I have asked my endo before if a nap could cause such a spike, and he's said no.
