I have type 2 diabetes and I do not eat vegetables. I am a meat, rice, and potatoes person. Can you sugest a meal plan?
My main suggestion for you is to ask your physician for a referral to a dietitian in your community. A dietitian will take into account many factors, such as your age, gender, activity level, weight goals, other health issues, daily schedule and food preferences, and work with you to develop a realistic eating plan that you can stay with long-term. He or she can also give you ideas (including recipes) for how to fit vegetables into your eating plan.
