Regular exercise is an important part of diabetes control. It’s easy enough to find ways to add aerobic exercise to our day — taking a walk after dinner, taking the stairs at work, etc. — but what about things like yoga and ab workouts? We usually need some instruction for those types of exercises. Joining a gym is not something that everyone can afford. Here’s an answer: Sweatbetes Exercise Videos by Diabetic Connect contributor Ginger Vieira.

Vieira lives with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease and is a certified cognitive coach and personal trainer as well as a certified yoga instructor and author. Vieira received a seed grant from the Diabetes Hands Foundation and used that money to create four exercise videos with people with diabetes in mind. There are hundreds of exercise videos available on the market, so what makes these videos special?

· They were created specifically with diabetes patients in mind. Vieira knows and understands how exercise works with our diabetic bodies and provides great information about how to handle blood sugar issues before, during and after exercise.

· You will receive (via download) four exercise videos and an introduction video for $5! I doubt you can find such a deal anywhere else.

· Here is the best part: Every penny of your $5 will be donated to the Diabetes Hands Foundation’s Big Blue Test. If you’ve never heard of it, go here and check it out. It is a very worthy cause.

You should take advantage of this opportunity to not only help you get into better shape, but make a donation to a great charity at the same time.
