  • Sleep apnea test.

I got the results of the sleep study I did last September. I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea and the machine is on it's way. I'm a little depressed over this. Not thrilled about the alien bedtime gear. Hardly slept at all last night. Don't want to schedule the hernia repair til I'm...

  • Epsom Salt Bath

I have long soaked my feet in Epsom salts and enjoy it. I came across a "recipe" for an Epsom salt bath and gave it a whirl last night. I had Epsom salts, cayenne pepper, olive oil and lemongrass essential oil. I enjoyed the bath, had a chance to sweat a little bit and the oil made my skin so...

  • Burnt out, in need of emotional support!

I work full time doing a high stress job and I'm on my feet close to 8 hours a day. I don't have time to take my 2 short breaks because my job has deadlines that need to be made pretty much every hour. I only get a 30 min lunch and sometimes I'm too exhausted to even eat, so sometimes I opt for a...

Dogs are wonderful. I have always had one in my home and can't imagine life without them. I have been alerted to a low by a friend's dog, and my own often know when I am not feeling my best. But do I know how to see when my pup is not on point? I had never really thought about it much. I found...

  • Hot Topic: Are we considered disabled?

I've been filling out job applications and one page comes up where they want you to list your disabilities. One of the things you can mark off is being diabetic. Wether or not you want to mark down any can off illness at all is not my point. Is being diabetic a disability at all?

  • Once More with Feelings !

It seems as if I have a few weeks of peace, then I'm due for storm clouds to take away my peace. About almost 2 weeks ago I had a freak accident that broke my collar bone. The driver of the little transit, bus , that I take for trips, released my walker brakes and went to release the ramp to...

  • garbage in garbage out

This saying is really true for the way we eat and certainly for the way we think. This coming new year I am going to make it a focus to keep scrolling past political stories that bash either side. It's beyond destructive to me. I have already just 10 days ago given up the secret of eating...
