I have noticed that I am getting colder easier now, and I...

  • Stubborn Hubby

My hubby is newly diagnosed. I am trying so hard to make sure he gets what he needs and doesn't get what he can't have. He thinks it's ok to only test once a day. How often you any of you test through out the day?

  • Denial/Attitude with Others

I don't know if it is right for me to say, but I feel if you are on this site you want to help yourself or a loved one. Now, a lot of people are probably still in denial; especially when you never saw the diagnosis coming and were not ready to deal with diabetes for the rest of your life, BUT, I...

My insurance won't kick in for another 3 weeks, so I can't afford to go to my doctor until then. Does anyone have any advice how to get my numbers...

  • artificial sweeteners

I do not understand how these can be useful; It seems to me there has to be something bad in them if they are a replacement for sugar. Other than making your food and drink sweet for you, do they do any harm? Cos' I think reintroducing the taste of sugar alone can be harmful.
