Whirpool is they good for us Diabetic People???

I was Wonder about Whirpools???? The Water is so Hot!!! Is it a Good Idea for a Diabetic to use them if so how long do you think we can stay in the water???? love to have some feed backs… Thanks!

If the water is HOT, then don't stay in very long. Even for non-diabetics a HOT whirlpool is not recommended over 15 minutes. If you have limited sensation, then I would be very careful and have a friend test it for you. I don't feel comfortable in those for any length of time at all. If your skin begins to turn red, it's time to exit.

good to know these things if u do ever go… i hadnt been in a whirlpooh since i had diabetes… so i will remember… or just stay in a min or two..

Forget that! I'll go in alone! hahahaa. I would guess it should be good for you since it probably promoted circulation right? Just watch out if you have high/low blood pressure as you don't want staying in too long to affect it either way!

I have a Spa, and have used it with no problems. I never set the water temperature above 100 degrees. But, to be safe, you should check with your Dr. and get his advice. That way you can probably enjoy using a whirlpool safely.
