I'm so sorry to hear that. I hate it too that you have to do that.
If you want to talk about it, please email me on the DC system.

Or perhaps if Dr Gary is among your friends here (if not, invite him ), you could email him and see what he says.

I pray things will smooth out for you SOON.

See if you can read the book "Diabetes Burnout" by William Polonsky, you can get it for under $3 + shipping on Amazon.

We cannot feel sorry for ourselves as we are permanetnly sick. We have to learn to live it with and change our lives so it accomidates it all. YOu are bright young girl.So we may have to take medications on a daily basis check our sugars but that is small part of our life. As the others said let it go with the flow work with it..not against it..there is help every where for everyone..we are here for you when you need to talk..just start blogging and the advice and comments will come.! I've been where you are today and finally i just let it all go…and here today i can tell you it was hard but things are better.

Sometimes when we feel we are drowning in a river and fighting the current we just have to relax and allow the current to take us where the river wants. It may not be where we were headed, but the river will take you to a place where you will be able to crawl out...though you may be tired.

You may have to work your way back to where you were on foot, but at least you are out of the river. I get the feeling you are in a panic now. It is the hardest time to say relax, but maybe that is what needs to happen for a while. Allow those around you to make some choices for your good. I am not saying give up or give in, I am saying to wait patiently and be willing to go backwards a little to find a safe place where you can get out and then move forward on your own.

Many of us here are the branches along the banks, grab on to a few of us and find that safe place where the waters are more calm and we will help pull you out. Some of us might not be strong enough, but somewhere along the way, you will find the one to help you out and on your way.

Hugs to you sweet Heather. We are here for you.

Wow!!! I have often had those exact same thoughts that you have so brilliantly described. I have struggled at times feeling as though I am barely managing to keep my head above water and life is rushing by, getting tired of constantly hanging onto the branches on the river's bank. But as you beautifully pointed out, We are here to hang on to and provide the strength needed til you can get back on your feet with new resolve.

Life is never as bad as it can be, we all have options in life.
We can either face our problems or give up.
Always look at all of your options and make a decision, ignore, flight or fight!
Only you can decide this, you are the best authority on yourself!
