So I've got high blood pressure. My last (self-taken at home) was 149 over 90. Too high I know…what are some tips and things I can do to start bringing it down? I had my endo prescribe a HBP medication for me but I haven't started it yet. I was going to try to bring it down with some daily exercise first and check back with him in a few weeks.

I know that if you don't treat it you can do microvascular damage…I've been particularly stressed in that I've had some ED issues lately and with my sugars under control I'm wondering it it's:

a) testosterone levels
b) weight (I weight 272 lbs, trying to lose)
c) Cholesterol (I know it's higher than it should be but my endo isnt tackling it yet)

I've started taking some fish oil chews daily along with my Vitamin D…I'm planning on starting daily walking on the treadmill or outside etc. Tips?

Hypertension is just as diverse, and just as damaging as diabetes is.
I can understand your urgency to get it under control due to the damage that it can cause to all of the organs of your body, my doctor has me on Enalapril for my HBP, although it is now under control, it is still prescribed to protect my kidneys from the effects of diabetes.
