Feeling good most of the time. Feel low on my bad days. Need help with the bad days. Mom is also type 2. Can this cause you to be dizzy all the time?

Thank you everyone, I've taken some notes and will let Mom know. Also, my BP has been on the low side also. I'm on 11 pills a-day (huh). Been watching my diet since I found out. Stop some of my over-night eating which was hard. Food helps me sleep at night. Love MD, but don't like the diet verison. Love the diet grape and orange drinks. Hope you all have a great weekend.

well you might want to check out each of those 11 meds on a site like webMD to determine if any of those meds have dizziness as a side effect.

Congratulations on the weight loss. That is not easy and we all know this is fact. At times when I have felt slightly dizzy, it was due to blood sugars dropping and I had to get a snack down quickly. I always wrote this dropped # down in my log book so I could talk with my dr at the next appt . Could be a drop in blood pressure also. But for sure, check with your dr. Good Luck to you and yours.

Sometimes I get dizzy if I'm running low. Its very important to check your sugar regular and make sure you eat on time. When your dizzy check your sugar to see if it could be a cause. Id talk to my doctor about it to make sure nothing else is going on. Condratulations on your weight loss! That's wonderful. I'm sure you worked very hard to lose 30 pounds! Great job! We all feel down every now and then and if you ever need someone to talk to I'll be here for you ok? I wish you the very best!

You are in my prayers, I had my cat Sunni for 15 years and she got sick on my birthday so I prayed for God not to let her die on my bd, she didn't but 2 days later I had to put her to sleep. She was like a child to me, so I know how you feel. Hang in there…I think "all cats go to heaven" gives me peace!

Thanks so much for your reply. She was put to sleep 3 day after my Dad's birthday. Though we were going to lose her Sunday. She was a fighter till the end. Not eating or drinking. She had a lot problems like me. (lol). Just a good friend to have. Thanks again :-)

Howdy David, welcome to DC!

There are many sources of dizziness. Some conditions will cause it, like low BP. and some meds can too.

I have the feeling of being off balance all the time. That was due to having had ministrokes (TIAs). I also have intermittent problems with "peripheral vertigo" where when I have a post nasal flow down my throat, and I bend over or even look down for a bit, I get dizzy and get nauseous, and If I don't get my head position corrected in time, will vomit.

You might want to ask your Dr about dizziness and what may be causing it.

Blessings to you and yours!

James Baker
