Hello Family & Friends!

I have recently been searching online for discounted sources for metes and test strips and found three places that I narrowed my search down to:,, and The winner of my business is American Diabetes Wholesale.

I had been buying TrueTrack supplies sold through the retail drug stores (store brands) for my drug store brand meters. Well, the best price I found on the truetracks were $49.95 for 100 strips. Well, I thought that was a decent price until I went to the sites that I mentioned above and was able to get a new meter and 200 strips for a little more than $50. I found a $5 off $50 coupon code online for American Diabetes Wholesale so that helped with the $6.99 shipping. I did not need another meter. Lord knows I have one still in the package that I have not needed and I now have another. If anyone needs a meter, let me know… I have 2 unopened TrueTrack meters and a source for the test strips.

The shipping was quick and they were able to bill my flexible spending account because diabetic supplies are still covered without a prescription. Yay. The company, American Diabetes Wholesale, has many name brand meters and strips as well as other supplies for diabetics. I give them thumbs up!

Shopping around is never a bad idea so while I chose American Diabetes for my purchase, that's not to say the strips you use may not be cheaper elsewhere. But when you need to make a purchase check out google for the company name and the keyword "coupon codes" or "promotional codes" when you search and you could get codes at checkout for free shipping, x% discount, or $x off your purchase.

I have not tested in a while because I could not afford strips at the end of last year but with my new flex spend account opening for the year I decided to make the purchase. I tested my bg tonight with my new strips … 105 before dinner!

If you know of other websites for strips, meters and other supplies, please share them with us. If you have good or bad experiences to share on the places I am mentioning, your testimonials would also be appreciated.

I intend to get back in the mode of testing more frequently. As I hear often on DLife, "test, don't guess."

Thanks for the info, Ray. I may need to switch meters and was searching the discussions to see what was being said about them. This is a two for one hit for me, as the TRUEtrack meter is one of the meters on my list of options and I was looking for sites offering discount diabetes supplies.

I really like the site too. It offers so many choices and I also use True Track meters and liked the cost of the strips there. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks Ray.
I have been using ADW, and I love both their prices, and their services.
They are also (in my opinion) very professional, they really care about their customers!
