I see there is a badge for downloading the mobile app but I can not find any info about where to get this mobile app at, and is it available for Blackberry?

Have no experience with Apple because I simply cannot afford them. Not going into debt to get their latest version of whatever. I like tech, I just can't afford it! Lol. I am interested in this ICE app that you are talking about, though. I haven't been able to get a medic alert bracelet yet and would like to have something to alert people to my medical issues in an emergency.

After reading this thread, I have remained confused. Is there an app or not? Android?

Howdy SN
The last I remember is that there had been mobile apps for apple and for Android, but they had stopped supporting them. So if you find a link for an app you want, you might find that once you download it the app may work for a while but if it goes flooey you are out of luck.

Sorry to be the bearer of lousy tidings

Thanks everyone for your input and interest in the mobile app. It is only available on the iPhone right now. You can find it by going to the App Store within iTunes. Just search for Diabetic Connect and you'll find it.

Here's a link:

As far as apps for other platforms, we're definitely taking a look at that. We'll keep you posted.

Not everyone has an iphone. There are alot of us that have Androids & like them!Maybe it's time the programers faced that fact & started doing Android based apps!

You need to make one for ANDROID.

There are folks like me out there who hate Apple on principle.

Apple likes to micromanage your use of Apple products and I don't like that. Indie-supporters here will understand what I mean.

I'm unable to log in on my iphone and no matter what I do, I'm not getting the badge for downloading the app.
Is there a bug in the system that needs fixin?
Thanks for a quick response. It would be great to access this site while on the go. :)

I'm guessing it's not released yet and the badges are prematurely showing. Ideally it should be on all platforms but I would take a guess that it will be iPhone first, possibly/probably Android at the same time with Blackberry and Windows later.

Yes, I think your right. I love my Blackberry but they are getting passed up by the newer ones!

It's because they are a little harder to code for, have a smaller market share and are mainly used by business people which limits the type of app that people want to download somewhat.

Apple sucks. I will never go i-anything. Not as long as Apple continues to micromanage how you use Apple devices and is therefore an unfriendly place for indie developers.

I have friends who are indie developers, and a lot of their stuff you can ONLY get on Android, because Apple don't want it unless APPLE can make a ton of money on it. Leaving small developers to twist.
and the only reason they have a smaller market share is because Apple is good at marketing garbage. I challenge any Apple person to go to Android for three months and see if they EVER want to go back to Apple!

Then again, I am also a business person…one more reason why I am more inclined towards Android. And that is true, Android IS more geared towards business than personal use. But there is plenty of good personal use stuff for Android, you just have to know how to look for it.
