Blooming from within you!

Spring is approaching.

For those of you who may have missed it, it will soon return.

Birds singing, children playing, lovers walking hand in hand, and flowers blooming.

What about you?
Are you ready to bloom?
What will you bring forth as the new you emerges?

Will there be a change in your appearance, a new attitude, or a brilliant smile?
How about a commitment towards being healthy, or a bit more helpful?

What did you plant this past winter that is waiting to emerge this spring?

Well, since I was just laid off from my job yesterday, I may have more time this year to enjoy Spring. It is my favorite season. At least I'll be able to get more rest until I find a new job. And maybe get those closets cleaned out! Hope you are doing better today, Mays. Hugs.

That's beautiful Mays! Very poetic! I love it! I've been in such turmoil lately I'm afraid my crop might render weeds this spring! Its so hard to focus on much knowing the clock is ticking and I need to get out of my house of 5 years at no fault of mine. Its very scarey the unknown is always scarey. I've got a bid out on a house but so many factors come in to play there I can't bring myself to become excited after loosing my dream house. To foundational issues! Oh I think I'm rambling on or venting??? I've said enough! I just hope my spring holds some blossoms for me. :)

rambling or venting, it's all good. It gets it off your chest. Go ahead. Do it as you need. I know a bit how you feel, being forced to move from the home I shared with Jem. But my situation does have some unespected side benefits. Sometimes you DO have to look for them.

Blessings to you and yours and may your move be smooth.

The way my life has been for the past several months. I don't think that I planted anything this winter to bloom in the spring. But I will plant something now to bloom in the summer, that is a change in my appearance and a new attitude, it's never to late to bloom.

I do NOT know if I was able to plant anything over the winter. My life is in such a state of chaos, I do NOT know if anything could bloom if it was planted. So all I can do is hope for a late blooming or try again for the next spring.

I'm ready to "BLOOM" , I'm going to have a new attitude towards my eating habits, especially now with the cost of food going up. I planted a seed in my brain to develop new ways for me to be a better person, and to try and bring a smile to everyone I meet.

There is and will be a change in all of me. I am very committed to being healthier and doing what I need to in order to be around for my daughter. At the negining of the month I purchsed a treadmill for my family. 3 of the 4 use it daily…I am one of the 3. Not a big loss but Ive lost a pound!!! In march I am having all my teeth removed in order to be healthy. So in sept or oct I will hopefully saved up enuf money for dentures if not it will wait till income tax return in 2012. I am considering a gastric surgery this year as well. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired…so Ive planted a mental seed this winter to bloom into a healthier woman!!!!!

Most definitely, I am committed to doing my best in keeping control of my diabetes. I feel better and know that I am healthier than had been for years. There is a spring in my step due to all my daily exercise and loss of 72lbs in 1 year and a great big smile on my face that I just celebrated 2-11, one year with diabetes. The more I can learn about taking care of myself, the healthier and more confident I grow each day.
