This week I have come across some new members and some old tried and true members that have brought me great joy. I will not name names, because I know I will end up hurting someones feelings, but I have to say that you all have inspired me greatly!

You go out there and raise money for a cure.
You share your dreams and goals.
You set me on a good path with great advice.
You make me laugh with your wit and humor.
You remind me that a pact doesn't have to be made face to face.
You encourage me with ideas of how to accomplish great things.
You share your passions and your fears.
You set me straight and give me things to think about.
You are who make me come back every day to see how you are doing.
You talk to me daily in emails and make me part of your life.
You are part of what makes this community unique and GREAT!

Every day I come here, I smile from knowing the comfort of people who really do care and want to help. You guys are the greatest and I wanted to share that with you.

What have members done for you that makes you feel special?

The members here have motivated me to try and get my diabetes under control.
There was times when I wanted to just give up and let go. The members encouraged me to not give up but to just take one day at a time. I am lucky that I found diabetic connect. Thanks for just being special'

I'm so grateful that I stumbled upon this site because it's meant so much to me to find kindred spirits who know exactly what I go through on a daily basis.

You're all my 'betes buddies and I'm so happy to know each and every one of you. You all make me smile and laugh. It's nice to have a place to go and tell all my problems and my triumphs and know that everyone is there for me.

So, thank you all for being a part of this site. And a part of my life.

This is an awesome site where I get the support and inspiration from all the others on here. Helps keep me committed to doing my best even I don't really feel good. It is true, there is so much strength in numbers of other people who walk down this same road that I do. I am so grateful for locating this site and when I receive flowers, I can not tell you how they brighten my day. Thanks to all my friends and God Bless you all.

I hope we inspire each other. I know that all of you inspire me. When I have a not so good day or am having a good day, You All make it a much better day.
I will not say you are family, I will say you are all friends. See you get stuck with family and no choices. Friends are chosen ones. So thank you dear friends.
By the way, I might not say thank you for the gifts or flowers, but they brighten my day. Thank you!

I had a problem with counting carbs. I was amazed of how many caring, thoughtful friends I have on here that was willing to help me. This wonderful community of people took out their time to help me understand what I was doing wrong. They gave links for cookbooks and other things. For this I am truly grateful to everyone that has helped me! Thanks to all!

You know…just from being on this site for a little over two weeks, my average on my meter has gone from 205 to 165. That is huge for me because I lost control two years ago after the stress of having a baby and having a new HUGE priority in my life besides type 1 diabetes. I think that it is helpful just talking to others and knowing that if I have a question or a fear, that others out there can understand and help. Seriously though, I did not change anything with my medication…Just talking and easing stress about diabetes has helped my average this much! It makes me feel like I can get back in the range I want! So, thank you to everyone!

When my family and 3D friends seem tired of hearing me go on and on about diet and exercise etc., I know I can always come here and be in the company of amazing people that are real friends too, that never tire of the same subjects that occupy so much of my waking thoughts. I've learned from those wiser and more experienced, laughed with the witty, and cried with the heartbroken. I know I can ask or say most anything, and some one will speak to my heart or concerns. Add my thanks to everyone, members and facilitators, too.
