Recently noticed higher fasting readings and higher early am readings

Most mornings my readings are under 100 but of late they have been running 115 or higher. I started taking my readings at 2 and 3 am to find out they have been running high (117-126) which is probably what is causing my higher am readings. After dinner they run anywhere from 105-125 (higher than normal) so I am trying to figure out if I need more medication? Currently taking 3 metformin (500 mg) per day. Should I be taking additional before bedtime with a snack?
I exercise everyday, I don't need to lose any weight (BMI 19) and eat a low-carb healthy diet. I want to get my numbers back to where they were, not sure what I am doing wrong.

Your not doing anny thing wrong themes is good numbers lol
In the winter when it is cold you can have higher numbers I know I do.
Stress can make them go higher too.
Even the start of getting cold.
Best wishes Harlen

Thanks for the kind words Harlen. I am a perfectionist and I get upset when my numbers are over 100 in the am. That being said, it has been a tough winter here in the NE, lots of snow and cold and out of work, looking for a job, a bit stressful. :)
