I went to the Boston Museum of Science on Saturday and they are hosting this exhibit until April. I was so excited to go and see it and I wasn't disappointed!

The exhibit was very good. You walk through a giant blood vessel and it has facts about the disease as well as how to manage it. I'm going to post some pictures on my profile, if you're interested in seeing it. It's a small exhibit, but very much worth the visit! I had a great time and it was nice to see people actually stopping to read everything they had posted and hearing people talk positively about living with diabetes was very inspirational. I loved every minute of it.

I loved the pictures and I especially love the turn table walk to keep your blood sugars balanced. That is so true!! Thank you for sharing. Do you know if the exhibit is going to move across the country? It would be great for many of us to experience it.

I was thinking of asking the same thing. I looked at the photos and was hoping that it comes to NYC if it is a travelling exhibit. I would like to see it myself and take a couple of friends who need to know more about diabetes.
I will check on the Boston Museum website.

ok. so I found this information on the following webpage http://sanofi-aventis.mediaroom.com/index.php...
The exhibition started a 3 year 12 city tour in April last year from NJ's Liberty Science Center. It mentions a website for information about the schedule but the website does not work. But there are phone numbers, if somebody is enthusiastic to call and ask.

Unfortunately, the link that should show the cities it is to be in is not longer available. The exhibit is supposed to be through 2012, so it has a year or so to go. I guess I will have to try the phone number when they are open.

Yes, it is traveling. Thanks Dev for the links/info. I looked for pamphlets or something to let you all know when/if it'd be coming to you, but there was nothing there. Hopefully, the number helps and you all get to see it!

Sounds great! I love learning, remember knowledge is power! Learning about our disease gives us power over it!

I'll remember! There were some little facts that were mentioned that I'd never heard. So it really was informative.

Great Pics of you and your Family, and the Exhibit. Thank you for posting them. The Exhibit itself looks pretty awesome. Glad you could see it for the positive things that you heard and learned.

You're welcome. I posted the pictures on my profile. It was a great experience and I hope many of you get to go see it. It was great just being there and seeing everything and literally walking through what my body is doing all day, every day.
