I went to the dermatologist one day last week and had a suspicious spot removed, or scraped off. Always before I"d had pre-skin cancers taken off with liquid nitrogen. I saw a PA, not the doctor that day, otherwise I would have had to wait a few weeks, and I knew it needed to be checked soon but hasn't been there very long. Anyway, she isn't too concerned that it is a cancer. It is healing very well. I just wonder what it could be if it isn't a cancer. To me, it does look like one, but not melanoma, we know it isn't that. It was red, raised, not very tiny but not large either and just looked like something that needed to be taken out, it did not look ordinary at all.
