This discussion discusses a few of the many uses of Vicks Vapor Rub.

You may be surprised!

Here is one of the many uses that was brought to my attention by family members here at Diabetic Connect.

(Thank you both, James, (Jayabee52) and Gabby!)

Toenail or Fingernail Fungus:

Work the medicated Vicks salve into your infected toenails and the surrounding nail bed. Let your feet breathe uncovered, except for bedtime when you need to cover your feet with breathable cotton socks. Reapply Vicks VapoRub to the toenail or fingernail fungus twice a day. Trim the nails frequently until the infected portion is completely removed.

Thanks Msys;
I've tried it, helped but didn't cure.
The heat helps the rash (?) on my feet, and moistures the dry r dead skin. Thanks to all.
I also daub a bit on my cheek bones to fight sinus/sinus migranes. When I don't have capsasin for muscle strains, I use it. For sticky/stuck doors it works if vasoline isn't available. Many more uses than that. Coughing now . . . whheres my vicks?
