I am very anti-carb.

A few years ago after reading forum posts discussing the pros and cons, I decided to investigate the science for myself. I told myself to do what the science says I should do. I found nothing supporting the demonization of fats and cholesterol. Nothing! I found tons demonizing carbs. Gary Taubes lays out the basic science of weight control, Dr. Krauss show us that saturated fats are a misguided target, and the theories (nobody actually knows what causes atherosclerosis) of the causes of modern heart disease mostly point to small, dangerous and oxydizing LDLs as the bad guys. These are CLEARLY caused by carbs [mostly fructose].

Ever single diabetic I see eat HFLC loses weight , improves lipids, and feels better, myself included. 100% success is hard to argue with.

I'm personally in favor of a moderate carb diet consisting mainly of low glycemic carbs like beans, whole grains and certain fruits.

I think you need a well balanced diet with carbs and fats with lots of fiber
Thats what works for me
