Hi does anyone know why i had high blood sugar for 1 and a half years and it decided to turn into severly low blood sugar that caused me to end up in the hospital 4 times in 1 month time. I am so frustrated at times i don't know what to do about it no matter how many carbs i eat my blood sugar hardly goes, up. I went through testing for insilunoma and addisons and the team of specialist, I seen put me on a steriod medication for 3 monthes then decided i didn't need it and stopped it. I am tired of suffering from sevre headaches, being irrtable, aggiated and being sleepy, and not much energy to do anything during the day in fact one day i slept for 13 straght hours before waking up. i have my blood sugar in the 40 twice and under 70 sevreal times and if, my blood sugar doesnt stay above 100 i have awful headaches that only by taking 4 glucose tablets take it away or eating a lot of carbs, plus i lost a lot of weight around 65 pounds total in less than 5 monthes time by walking and exercise, would that maybe caused me to suffer with low blood sugar? before i started suffering with low blood sugars. Please help me anyone have any adive it would be apperciated. I am tired of suffering with low blood sugars. please keep me in prayer.

I have not had really had high bg for the year I have had diabetes. However, I do exercise a lot each day and occassional my blood sugar would drop considerably and I was told in order to avoid the low drops to always make sure I kept protein big for breakfast (I eat eggs-don't have cholestral problems) before going on walk eat string cheese(good protein)/crackers- or extendchips (high protein)that keeps my #'s level for 8-9 hours (has always worked for me). I eat, for dinner some real turkey breast in salads or homemade fajitias at nite (high protein)snack before bedtime of graham cracker/pntbutter. Pntbutter is a slow digesting food that gets me thru the nite and #'s are good in morning. Something else I eat at dinner is small amount of beans. The protein always gives me energy and since then, no more headaches and exhaustion. Hope this has been of some help to you. You are in my thoughts and prayers..

Yes I will pray for you. I'm sorry I can't answer your question as the only time I get low sugar is if I inject my insulin and don't eat soon enough. Id continue testing with my doctor to try and figure this out as soon as possiable! You shouldn't have to suffer daily like this. Hopefully they will figure out the cause soon so you can recover and feel better. Id keep pressing my doctor for answers this is serious as you know. I wish you the very best and pray you will get it figured out soon. Keep us posted on how your doing ok?

Hi ,,, it sounds very much like you have a thyroid problem to me. Your blood sugars can be all over the place with this kind of trouble. Have you had a complete blood work up that includes 3 or 4 of the thyroid numbers testing.
Many read in the normal range and that is not normal for you. I read in dead center and I am not normal… I needed to be treated as many others do and that resolves the iblood sugar problems along with many other problems.

another way to tell if you have thryroid problems,,, is first thing in the morning before you get out of bed take your temperature.. for a week dont get up just reach over and grab your thermometer and take it before you stir much. If your temp is lower than 96.8 then you could have a problem. Mine is 95.3
that indicated to me that I do have a problem. You would need to see a good
homeopathic doctor… as many times the conventional Md is not attuned to any of this, and they just throw their hands in the air and say i dont what to do. Let me know how you make out. I willl pray that you will be directed to someone who can help you out.

Hello! This is good information! My temp at this time is just under 98.7 but my blood work always comes back normal so my Endo sees no need to treat me for underactive thyroid. What do you take/use for your deficiency?
