Anyone here on weight watchers? I joined three weeks ago and have lost a little over 5 lbs.

I must admit, I held off for a little because I was concerned about doing the program along with being diabetic. They don't have a diabetic specific program, however, upon realizing after many moons that there is no such thing as a diabetic diet, I decide to give it a try.

It is working well. My sugar levels have not gone up, but they aren't really lowering yet either (when I remember to track). I still cannot get my fasting numbers below 100 like doc wants. :( However, since I don't have the spikes either, I am really enjoying it.

The weight goes on one pound at the time and has to come off that way as well. Congrats on the 5# loss. WW is a great program and it works! Keep us posted. It is great to see you back among us again. Big Hugz!!!

Yes, that is what my WW leader keeps saying. Over a year you can gain 20 lbs (just on average) yet we expect to lose it in one month. Took 12 to get on you. Not too logical. Weigh ins for me are Saturday mornings.

Great job on your weight loss! It must feel soo good! Keep up the good work and keep us posted on how your doing ok? I'm glad your enjoying your program. That always makes things better when you actually enjoy it. I've never tried weight watchers my self but id like to give it a try in the future.

The new points plus is an easier program that already realizes that all carbs aren't equal. So, they really are promoting a healthier lifestyle. I am having spaghetti (diabetic friendly) with a garlic and herb sauce, with Italian sausage (just 2 oz) PLUS roasted zucchini (ah man, these are gooooooooodddddd!)
