When I go grocery shopping, I keep in mind "what not to buy" as I think about what I shouldn't have as I go through aisles. Doing this not only prevents me from buying what I shouldn't have but also helps me cut down cost of grocery bills.

Out of sight, out of mind — no potato chips in the house — saving me money and cutting down on carbs.

What works for You?

For me grocery shopping is not a problem,I just shop for what I need. My one weakness is pizza, I do go to a place called Buddy's pizza they have a multi-grain pizza I can eat that does not raise my BS very high.

Yep, and that is the blessing of being the one in charge of grocery shopping. I will pick up things for the hubby, but they are things I don't really care for, so that part is not too bad. Our hard thing is keeping ice cream and crackers out of the house. Cauliflower, cauliflower, cauliflower....LOL

now you see, I can keep bad foods out of the house and save money.

but I have hard time figuring out which good foods to bring in. Cauliflower is not something I'd always have, but if I frequently buy it, I can get used to eating it.

That's a step in right direction. LOL. Cauliflower is on my grocery list…
