Awesome weight loss…good for you. In order to keep from dropping low, I have graham cracker with pnt butter. It digests much slower and really works for me. Just a suggestion… Good Luck…you are doing great!!

What does low mean to you?

A low to me is when my BS gets below 90. I get very irritable, sleepy, confused, it's kind a like feeling like you drank way to my liquor. It seems to impair my decision and when I feel that way i won't drive my car. What does a low mean to you and what #'s do you start feeling low?

A low is under 60 or 70 depending on who you ask. If you can put up with the symptoms you are having, you should find in a week or so your body gets used to it and you no longer get them. If you can't deal with them, try eating one glucose tab. It should take the edge off and not make your blood sugar go too high.

Harlen, Thank you for responding! I love fresh veggies and fruit. That is alot of what helped to take off the weight. Right now I'm having trouble getting anything fresh. I've used the frozen, but they are just not the same. Any suggestions?

Thank you for responding Gabby! Those foods sound good and I will try them> I eat alot of cheese and worry about the fat intake. I'm at a standstill on my weight, but would like to lose about 20 more pounds. I love apples but can't seem to find and good ones this time of year, the same goes for fruit. I've been buying the No Sugar Added canned fruit and it's really good.

You can get the 2% cheese if you are worried about weight. Or you can try using olive oil or almond butter instead of cheese on things. There are a lot of great foods out there. Even some hummus with veggies is great. Fiber in the chick peas helps a lot.

Congratulations on the weight loss! That is fantastic.

A long lasting carb is something that has protein, fat or fiber in it or as a combination. Those things convert much slower than a simple carb or sugar. Things like cheese and crackers or peanut butter with an apple. Even a little bit of dark chocolate or a pickle wrapped in some lunch meat in a wrap.

For a quick snack I like to get some apple slices and wrap a slice of ham around it. I try to keep fresh vegggies and fruit on hand. celery with peanut butter is a real favorite too. you can use graham crackers too with fruit or peanut butter is great.
