I received an email about a new clinical trial. Since I don't take Metaformin, I don't qualify. I was asked to pass it on to anyone who might be interested. Here is the copy.
Triangle Medical Research and Dr. John Rubino are looking for men and women with Type 2 diabetes who currently use Metformin to control their blood sugar. Your participation would last approximately 7 months, with a possibility to continue taking study drug another 6 months during an extension phase. This study involves an investigational drug currently known as taspoglutide. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of different doses of taspoglutide in controlling your blood sugar.
