A classic, or a relic.

A museum piece, or a attic occupier.

There are some pieces that should be placed on display for everyone to see, either on a pedestal, under the lights in a museum, or in the middle of the town square.

Others belong in the attic, in the dark gathering dust.
Maybe someone will discover this attic peice while looking for something else, maybe they will ask about it, but then again maybe not.

Become a "Museum Piece," instead of becoming a "Attic Dwelling Relic."

As humans, we can decide where we will be in life, either on display, or hidden away.
Some of this will depend on how we view ourselves, our confidence level, and our self esteem.

How much of our self confidence involves the opinion of other people?

We should really think about that question before answering it, honestly.

The opinion that matters the most is yours, first and foremost.
Not your spouse, your siblings, your parents, or your friends, yours!
Imagine all the things that you can accomplish if you have just a little faith in yourself!

Believe in your diabetes management methods, even if you don't see, or feel as though it is working, you didn't become a diabetic overnight, and you will not control it within a week, or a month no matter what you do.

It takes time, so be patient.
Take this time to polish yourself so that you will shine when you step up onto your pedestal!

Support groups are great, they serve a purpose, but it starts from within you.

S_E_L_F - C_O_N_F_I_D_E_N_C_E_!!

Holding your head up high will allow you to see much further ahead than you can ever do by looking down.

Each step that you take higher in life will allow you to see more of the world, there is so much to see if you look up, or ahead so stop looking down.

Be the best person that you can be, do whatever it is that you must do for you, others will soon follow your lead.

No one likes a downer, at first they are sympathetic towards you, next comes the avoidence because a depressive, negative attitude is just as contagious as the common cold, but then again so is confidence!

Face it, you are on display whether or not you like it, a true museum piece, don't place yourself in the attic, it's dark up there!
