I am allergic to all artificial sweeteners. What can I drink instead of water? The water makes me gag sometimes.

I used to add a piece of hard candy to water. Just let it sit in the cup for a minute or two and it flavors the water. if you cant have sugar free candy just becareful on how many times a day you do this. Jolly ranchers work good

I was told years ago that I had a kidney stone and needed to drink Lots of water. I had a hard time gagging it down. What I did was make a jug of country time lemonade. I bought a gallon of Good Spring water. (Not filtered or cleaned water, they make me gag as I can taste the osmosis system that is used) I took out about 1 cup of water and added one cup of lemonade to the gallon of water. Low carb and really helped me get used to drinking water. the next gallon I replaced 1/2 cup of water instead of 1 cup and so on until I didn't need it any more. I still do it once in awhile because it just tastes refreshing.

Thanks, Vickie :-) I'm going to try this. Just adding slices of lemon to the water just isn't doing it for me.

Have you tried a little lemon, lime or orange in your water? Have you tried other brands of water other than your tap??? We buy the Walgreens Spring Water and we have a filtration system so water is better than ever.

I've tried the fruit and I use Brita filtered water or spring water. Thanks for
your suggestion.

I drink a lot of tea. All kinds. You can find lots of different teas in Chinese grocery stores. I have maybe 10 different kinds in my cupboard. I like to drink tea on weekends and during the afternoon at work. But I still drink my 8 glasses of water no matter how much tea I drink. I find it taste better cold than warm.

I love Iced Tea No sweatner. But Caution!!! When I was in the hospital with that nasty kidney infection the nures told me to not drink much tea, because the kidneys do not prosses it well. Tea stays in the kidneys to long and does not filter out well.

Of course you know water is best. But you can also drink all sorts of unsweetened teas or coffee. Broth is okay, too, if you like that. Tomato juice is the only juice I'll drink occasionally. I hope that helps a little.
