I realize everyone propably knows about the American Diabetes Association; but I have found some interestion facts there as well, among other sights. Such as how to help yourself in an early diagnosis, risks, symptoms, and of course things that we are learning on this site will empower you to use more often if confirmed by other sites information.

It has very good message boards as well. THe ADA advice is pretty generalized, which is understandable sine they are trying to get to 20 odd million people who are all completely different!

The ADA is a decent site for information and stats. Unfortunately, it receives the bulk of its money from pharma companies and spends so little of its annual budget on research grants.
