One of the first books I got that I love (and plan to buy more of hers) is one called 500 Low-Carb Recipes by Dana Carpender. The recipes are easy and very good. Lots of options. You have to watch the fat content on some of the recipes, but it's a great source of some healthy low-carb recipes.

Also, as far as recipes, I find lots of them online. I like the American Diabetes Association website, that's a great place to start.

I actually enjoy food more now. I make much healthier, tastier meals with fresh ingredients than I ever did before.

I like that book, I have it too. Very helpful. I also have the Carbohydrate Addicts cook book, and that really helps me a lot. If I cook a meal out of that one, I know I am safe.

My favorite book so far is Betty Crockers 1 2 3; slow cook book..But I ordered six new ones. And Everyday Health is a great site for recipes.
