I finally tried the Zucchini Pizza Crust recipe after calculating the total carbs per recipe. I LOVE that I can have pizza again even though it is a bit labor intensive but worth it in my opinion. The original Diabetic Connect recipe showed 1 serving per recipe for this crust but it made a 12-inch pizza pan worth of crust…more than 1 serving for most of us. I would suggest that 8 slices per pan is more appropriate with maybe 2 pieces constituting one serving. The total recipe carbs per www.recipenutrition.com were 64 grams and this is before you add any toppings which would have to be calculated in as well. I baked a regular pizza at the same time for my husband and he's also happy that we may be having pizza more often now.
