I'd try more exercise. I know it sounds backwards, but you can probably eat more if you are exercising. If you are insulin-resistant, like many T2s, exercise may improve that. Once you are using insulin better, your body will be able to put the glucose in your blood stream into fat cells, and can help you put on or keep weight in healthy ranges. I hope that helps. The other thing I would suggest is talking to a dietician, and it might as well be one that's a CDE too. Good luck!

Thanks Caliko, I don't exercise very much I enjoy walking more. I walk 5 miles a day and my dietician at the diabetes center couldn't offer much advise either but I try. Thanks again

I looked to see if anyone else was talking about trying to gain weight, and found this:
I don't know if you are on insulin or not, but there may be some information for you in there.
I hope it helps.

Thanks CaliKo I went to the link and it gave me a little help. I'll start drinking
supplement drinks and it also advised that I eat more fatty foods and increase my intake of protein. Thanks
