Yes that happens too me too! I Take two different insulins and I sometimes get teriable lows if I don't eat on time. It drives me crazy and I really hate it because at times its not convient too eat. I Have too stop what I'm doing and find food. Before diabetes I could go all day with out eating , now I have to eat on schedule and its really bothersome at times. But having a low is way worse so i eat . Know that your not alone !. Its Just part of our diabetic life…

Yes. My blood glucose readings are best when I am both eating meals and snacks at approximately (within 30 minutes or so) of the same time each day, and also keeping my exercise schedule. I don't go more than 3 hours without eating during daytime hours, so what you're describing would cause me problems, too. Since I eat 3 small meals and 3-4 small snacks a day, on days where a meal is delayed, I'd switch my meal plan around to where I'd at least have a snack to keep my blood glucose more even. I'm not medicated though, so if you're on meds for control, the answer may be different. Happy holidays to you, too.
