Cinnamon comes in 3 grades that is sold in the US, our supermarket and dollar store grades are B and C, the best cinnamon costs a bit more, also its really Cassia and not true cinnamon. Its supposed to help with insulin resistance and the way I look at it is if it makes you more senstive to insulin its going to help.

Like everything else if it works for you it works but I think its important to give it some time, maybe a month, to see if its making a difference.

An old neighbor of mine and his wife, used it. Her bs was extremely high and it helped to bring them way down. So yes you're absolutely right. Everyone is different:)

my husband tried cinnamon but the doc told him no way! it made his cholesterol and A1C higher and NO improvement either, so it was a big waste of money and time.

I've been using it for several months…can't see any improvement…but I'm going thru a period where my glucose levels has been sporatic. I think the cinnamon is one of those thinks that will not reflect any significant change from person to person …but my thought is every little thing can help…the little things may add up to a big help in balancing glucose levels. I like cinnamon so it doesn't hurt to do all the little things that we can.

I've been taking about 1000 milligrams a day for 3
weeks to a month and not sure if it's making a difference. It's hard to tell my blood sugar is usually pretty good about 100 to 130

I always belch it, unless I take it before I eat and I hate the taste of Cinnamon unless it's baked on dough topped with icing.;) but seeing how that would defeat the purpose for the Cinnamon, I never get that

bummer! Is it the diabetes? I ever had heartburn, even when pg. Now I have it often, or sometimes. I take Omperazole (maybe not right sp) It is great, but don't take it daily. Best wishes!
