I used janumet and i really liked it and sugar stayed where suppose to. I went off of it myself and now needing to go back to drs to get startede again. Janumet was good for me…hope it is for you too…

I imagine that janumet is a combination of Januvia and Metformin. I am both of these and am doing very well. I have my medical care with the VA so they are behind the times as even Januvia is not on their list of VA meds.

Hi there—I am a pharmacist and do dispense a lot of Janumet. This combination product has gotten quite popular because it works in two separate ways to control blood sugars. It helps the liver to stop producing too much sugar and it also helps keep insulin levels stable and helps slow down food absorption. Good luck!!

Is this a drug that is available in a generic form? I am uninsured and am looking for something to help me with my morning highs.
