What do you do when one family member has severe allergies. The things she can eat, I shouldn't and the things I can eat, she can't?

Common sense and common courtesy would tell you never to force or even encourage someone to eat what they are allergic to but that same sense would tell you not to indulge in anything that will hurt you. There is nothing wrong with two sets of menu plans that give each person what they like and need for nutrition. Think about planning ahead and freezing certain meals for each of you and try working on a list, little by little, of things that are mutual. You will be amazed by how quickly the list will grow.

my family has that problem so we have to have different meals prepared in order for everyone to eat the way they need to. I know some people don't want to fix different meals but sometimes you don't have a choice.
