After my successful kidney transplant in February 2007 I started the Living Kidney Donors Network. The LKDN is a nonprofit organization that helps people who need a kidney transplant pursue living donation.

I offer workshops and webinars that educate people about the living donation process and help you develop a plan to communicate your need to family and friends.

Do you have questions about kidney transplants? Is there specific information about the transplant process and living donation that you would like to learn about?

I am willing to help others through the process.

I know there are several members here who have been recepients. It is a much needed service, thank you for doing that. Nothing like living through it to make it a passion for life.

Gabby…any suggestions on how I might reach people who need or will need a kidney transplant?

The best thing I would say would be to talk to John Crowley about what you would like to do. He is the site administrator and he can give you venues that might work within the term agreements of using the site.
