if you are losing lots of hair
if you are eating lot but not gaining weight or eating less but gaining weight
if you get very angry suddenly ( the Dr told me if desire to kill someone strongly :)
if you are affected badly by very hot/very cold weather
if you are having sleeping disorders
if you are feeling weak all the time ;
you might have a thyroid problem.You need a blood test showing T3-T4-TSH levels.
also need to see an ultrasound specialist
that was what I did on last Monday.

btw ; hi dear James & Harlen
hi everybody

I can see why they are confusable...that sounds like menopause as well. Or some serious PMS. Yes, the only way to tell for sure is to have some blood tests done. The doctor can get that figured out for you.

Howdy and WELCOME to DC Ruby!

What Harlen said. It's best to have your Dr take a look at you to determine something like that.

BTW: what are your symptoms which cause you to wonder if you're having the "change of life"?

Blessings to you and yours

James
