It is important to have support as you take control of your diabetes. I have created a support circle of my own that I turn to for support when I need a boost. It includes my family, a few close friends, my doctor and diabetes educator. It also includes all of you here on diabetic connect.

Who in your life creates your circle of support?

My support has came from this site and family. Although family can be the diabetic cops sometimes. Ha ha. I've really gotton most of my support here at dc. Any question I've had this site and the wonderful people here have helped me!

You are so right, that circle is so very important. Mine is my immediate family, my doctor and a couple of close friends. I had a great educator, but we don't do much outside of class. Of course, here is where I am most candid and there are great people here who have really saved my life. What I learn here is what I talk to my circle about the most.
