I went to my PCP on monday and the experience wasn't good. After having my vitals taking the nurse said that my pulse was 120, she then took it again and it was 136. When my turn came to see the dr, she told them to give me a EKG, and they said that it was Tachycardia. I was then immediately taken over to ER.
The doctor gave me IV fluids and said that It might be dehydration. The results was it might been brought on by having high blood sugar. After my heart rate went down I was sent home. yesterday and Today my heart is still racing. My doctor appt is in 2 weeks. Is this something normal or should I be concern? My pcp didn't act like they were to concern with my BS being high. She ask me when my next diabetic clinic appt was. My appt. is in late december.
Hope that all is well with everyone.
Love to all

I don't know the answer to your question. You should be able to call your doctor's office and ask for his nurse. The nurse should be able to get the correct answer for your situation and let you know what you need to do. Sometimes you have to leave a message and get a call back. Good luck!
