I am sure that I have neuropathy in my feet. However I'm not sure about my hands. I've been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands and have recently had one of them operated on which went well. I'll be getting the left-hand done this next Friday.
Both of my hands are very difficult to make into a fist that feels like there puffed up and store like they have the sausage casing over them. However when I look at them they are not swollen. I do have some pain in my knuckles, but maybe this is arthritis. There are times when I have a burning hot sensation in the palms toward the fingers.
I really am not sure what the symptoms are for neuropathy.

My podiatrist suggested that I take vitamin B complex and one of the following neurotin, lyrica, cynbelta, anitriptylie, mentax or tramadol.
Please excuse the spelling as I am trying to read the doctor scribble. LOL
has anybody tried these medications or another medication that has helped these symptoms?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sorry you have carpal tunnel. I have problems with the ulnar tendon and know how frustrating the pain can be. When my tendonites is acting up my hands will feel swollen. lI have felt the hot sensation in them also.
Best wishes that the surgeries resolve your hand problems.
I do not know much about neuropathy, so cannot help you with your questions about its symptoms. I have taken tramadol and it made me very dizzy and a little nauseous. B complex is reported to help the nervous system.
