I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in July. My A1C was 15.9
I just got the results from last week's A1C test and it's down to 7.9!!!
Still a ways to go but I am so PROUD OF MYSELF!

Thanks everyone for your support :)
I have made big changes to my lifestyle. I've gone from being a "grazer" and keeping a dish of candy by my recliner to keeping almonds there. My Endo put me on 3 Carb servings for meals and 1 carb serving for snacks. This was sooo hard at first! Now, I've gotten a little more used to the serving sizes - but I am still hungry all the time.
I'm also walking on the treadmill 30 minutes a day.
I think what made the greatest impact was ditching regular sodas for diet…or water.
These changes and two Metformins a day have done the trick. Now, if I can just keep it up!
