need calories to maintain weight

I need to maintain my weight, Need foods
to eat, that will not affect my blood sugar.
A!C and daily readings good. Its a struggle
to keep weight on. Appreciate input.

RAW ALMONDS — tons of fiber, super good for you, and luckily — plenty of calories…

I eat about a pound a week beacuse I was losing too much weight too fast… (type1)

You know, its a shame that we can't trade weight. So many of us want to loose and some want to gain or there and exchange program for that?

Seriously, what you can do is add more fat or protein to your diet. Perhaps a little more calorie rich veggies such as avocados? More meat on your plate without going too crazy might help.

How are your other numbers such as your cholesterol and triglycerides? You don't want to load up on fats if those are high.

Also, how are your BG levels? If your insulin is working right (either your own or the meds you take to help) you should have more energy or sugar available to your body. If that is not happening, you may want to ask your doctor for some more help.
