I have many problems (see am I cursed?). The group I go to on Monday nights use some creative craft ideas to help with depression, anger, frustration, and self hatred.
This week we created a Mandala. Colors, shapes, helpful reminders. We have tried writing, jewerly, clay, food (mini party), and many other things.
I would like to recomend creating vertural vacations for others. It helps to help others.
do any of you use anything artistic (acting, writing, poetry, painting, sketching, crochet or knitting) to help you feel better dealing with your disease?
I have dozens of things I used. Painting, sketching, making dream catchers, rugmaking, jewerly making, crocheting, writing, poetry, vertulral vacations, short stories, it helps to release anger, calms, and can help focus on our questions. I almost forgot, I created Crafters mountain. It is my safe place when anxiety or panic closes in on me.
What do you do, or recommend? Maybe something I can recommend to my ladies?
