I have PCOS and because this was left untreated I developed diabetes. I have never experienced hair loss from either one of these things. I think I would see a different Dr about it. My sugars are finally under control, but still taking meds since it has only been for a month now. I hope my AC1 numbers go down just a little more so I can get off the meds. Are you doing anything to help either one of these? Like exercise, having better eating habits? Watching your carb intake? That is my hardest thing. Wishing you all the best.

Actually hair loss is often a sign of thyroid problems. The reason it gets associated with diabetes is that we often have both issues. You might want to have that checked out and talk to your doctor about it.

What a jerk! Ok, I'm being unfair...what a big jerk. I didn't know that dandruff made you loose your hair. If that is so, then maybe find at least a dandruff shampoo to see if you can control that, then when you go back and say...no more dandruff, still loosing hair what now? Actually, it sounds more like he needs to get another job.
